In reply at the end of day 2 India lead by 62 runs after bowling out Australia for 191.

At stumps, Mayank Agarwal and night-watchman Jasprit Bumrah were at the crease.
Ravichanran Ashwin (4/55) and Jasprit Bumrah (3/40) were the top wicket-takers for India. After winning the toss, Kohli decided to bat first. Where according to both the legendary former batsmen Gavaskar and Boder  Shubman Gill should have got chance in place for Prithvi Shaw.

India lost their first wicket as Prithvi Shaw on the second ball of the match. And Team India got a big shock. Virat Kohli 74, Pujara 43, Rahane scored 42 runs but Australian team is on the top in day 1.

After the first ball of the match, Delhi Capitals head coach Ponting predicted that his team opener Prithvi Shaw could be out on the swing ball as his bat and pad get plenty of space. And on the second ball, Prithvi Shaw was out in the same manner.

Mayank Agarwal bowled after scoring 17 runs. Team India's score was just 32 runs then.

After that the experienced batsmen of the team, Virat and Pujara took command and brought the team out of trouble. Although Virat Kohli got a life on the score of 16 when he was caught behind the wicket off Nathan Lyon, but the umpire declared not out and Australia did not take a review.
