 New captain Eoin Morgan has decided to bat first for Kolkata Knight Riders Morgan has been given the captaincy. KKR made 148 runs in 20 overs thanks to Cummins for his half century.

Mumbai Indians bowled brilliantly in the opening over. Kolkata lost their 5 wickets for 61 runs. Shubman Gill scored 21 runs, cummims scored 53 runs and Morgan scored 39 runs. There was an 87-run partnership between the two.
